Exclamation W204 Door Handle Inserts

I took off my door handle inserts to remove the paint from them, and instead of just removing the black paint, I removed all of the chrome from the inserts and they are starting to look aluminum/bronze.

I've looked everywhere for parts, but I only came up on fake chinese inserts that require 3M adhesive. (Link Below)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SET-Chrome-Door-Handle-Covers-Trims-for-Mercedes-Benz-C-Class-W204-07-14-4DR-5DR-/181205186580?hash=item2a30abb814
I don't want to go through the hassle of repainted them and waiting for them to dry, when they are just about $10-$50. Does anyone know where I could find OEM chrome door handle inserts?

They were painted black, but I removed the black and the door handles lost their chrome finish.

Oh, so you wanted to go back to chrome. I see, well to be honest I think the only thing you can do is to get them re chromed. Not my cup of tea though.

Only chrome left on my car is the wing badges

And the chrome on the wheel hubs and the shiny parts in your head lights.
Not my cup of tea, but your car still looks like a disco ball.

Ok then, screw you. I try to give you an option to correct the ***** up you made removing the paint from your door handles and you decide the correct reply would be to slate my car.....

All I said was I'm not a fan of chrome. Tell ya what go buy some chrome vinyl wrap or get a can of chrome aerosol. There's two more options for you. Meanwhile I'll drive around happily in my disco ball.

Drink a cup of tea and relax red coat.
I'm not the one who started this thread. Therefore I'm not the one who is asking for help.
You need some help with that disco ball of yours. My suggestion for you would be, go get you some black paint and paint everything what isn't black.

BTW that door lock isn't black either.

Aah, first things first. My apologies to the thread starter as I mistook the comment from the douche bag as yours.

Wtf. I think the murdered out coupe looks pretty cool. I wouldn't do it because I've owned too many black cars and I'm doing easier to care for colors lately.

How does it look like a disco ball? I don't get it?

looks like a disco ball to me. It should be illegal to drive it on the road. People get blinded and get in a wreck. Possibly kill someone.

I'm a douch bag and a dick? Thank you!

I don't know how to respond to that w/o taking it to the next level.
It's just sad that you call someone anything like that just because you are driving around in a disco ball.

I think Sventastic82 just likes the term "disco ball" -ian. https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...ur-wheels.html.

E=mC63, I don't think they sell that chrome piece seperately as an OEM part. https://www.getmercedesparts.com/par...agramCallOut=7. Your best bet would be to either wrap them in a chrome vinyl, get them hydro dipped, or just have them repainted.

Just a bit of harmless fun Glyn. Seems Sven learned a new word at school this week. I'm sure if you pour some vinegar in your eyes and squint from a distance, like him you may be able to see the similarity between my car and this disco ball

Not sure the "smaller back portion you are talking about or if it even comes apart (pic maybe) but this may help. https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...iteup-diy.html
