Weistec valve body upgrade for W204???
Howdy AMG folks,
I haven't seen any updated info or posts relating to the Weistec valve body upgrade if late so wanted to ask some questions.
I've spoken to Weistec a number of times, but this week I was told that refilling the transmission fluid is a tricky job once I reinstall the valve body. Can anyone elaborate on the install? My last conversation with Weistec said if I had any issues with removing and reinstalling the valve body I should have the dealership or a reputable shop do it. My only concern is with the fluid installation.
Next my BMW 'M' buds are all tugging on me to run the C63 at the Texas Mile in a few months. I've ran my Boss 302 numerous times, but not really wanting to abuse the AMG. I'm so not liking the way the computer changes the transmission if you either don't drive it enough, which I don't, or if you aren't using S or S+ on a regular basis, which I now am. This is a concern for me at this event because I don't have a lot of opportunity once at the event to go driving around trying to wake the car up before a high speed pass.
It seems I have to drive the car much harder to experience the fast shifts and better engine performance. So I'm wanting to know if the valve body upgrade is going to make a difference at the Texas Mile? And how much better is the shifting on a daily basis? No I don't drive it daily, but will I need to still drive it harder to experience the valve body upgrade, or is it noticeable even after the car has sat awhile?
My car stays in a storage facility most days, but when I am able to drive it I don't want to have to drive it for half an hour before it wakes up.
Any help and insight would be much appreciated.

Another other mods? Valve body isn't all that worth it really unless you have a lot already into the car and are looking for a little more.
As for not driving much then blasting it in the Texas mile... You'll be fine. The car is fine, just let it warm up and go. Maybe on the way throw it in S+ and do a few pulls. Otherwise, you'll be fine.

to reset the adaptive transmission, did a few times on the s65 and the c63.. I always drive the C63 hard so I didnt really notice much but on my S65 I immediately noticed the changes... I don't think its transmission or car model specific.. maybe others can chime in?
