Fog Lights, Eye brow Lights and Exhaust
Hello guys I'm a new member to this website. A friend told me about it and said there are experts on this site who can help with my car problems.
I recently picked up an used white 2009 C63 for fun after seeing a friend drive one. The car is completely stock.
The previous owner left it sitting in his garage for a long time. He never changed the fog lights or the eyebrow lights when the bulbs died. So now I have to change them.
I don't like the stock yellow looking lights. Anyone got suggestions for color and what bulbs to use? I don't want any error messages popping up. I want the eyebrows and fog lights to be bright and match.
The exhaust... I want to go loud with the exhaust. I live in the middle of no where and I have nobody around me for a good distance so nobody will hear me drive around at night. What can I do for exhaust? Money isn't an issue but my wife doesn't want me spending anything over 10k.
Thank you guys for your help.

To make the markers, fogs, and eyebrows match, I used PIAA Extreme White 168 bulbs (tirerack or amazon) and Phillips Diamond Vision (for the fogs) bulbs. The fogs are about as close as you can get to HID in color and the other bulbs are a nice white. I had LEDs but they started to flicker which is annoying as hell.

Michael from AZN is the best for these, great service and product and lots of people on here used them for the newer look white LED, but there a few options.

Exhaust wise, well it's a personal preference of course as many will have different replies, I think the one thing most of us all will agree on though, is to firstly just remove the secondary cat, I did and replaced with a straight Miltek replacement part, and its the cheapest and best mod I've done on any car, including running expensive aftermarket full systems on M3's and Porsche's etc, the 63 sounds epic out of the box, the removal of the secondary cat, just add's a touch more to it, with no downsides, and very cheap to do.

For exhaust, start with deleting the secondary cats and resonator. You can either go full straight pipes or replace it with an xpipe (See MBH and eurocharged). Makes a big difference in sound from stock. Stock mufflers aren't really restrictive a lot of people in other benzes try to find c63 mufflers for the sound. For the cost these after market mufflers go for, its better to get some long tube headers with either 200 cell cats or primary cat deletes.

Will there be any smell? Will I lose power from removing the secondary cat because it messes with the exhaust back pressure?

I have the same bulbs on my fogs and eyelids. Do it! (See signature)

It actually looks decent, but right now the has no parking lights or fog lights because they're all burnt out and the previous owner never bother to change them. Since I'm changing the car I thought I might go for a new different look.

Yeah. Since they are normal bulbs and not LED, no need for weird resistors or coding. I've had mine for 4 months so I can't comment on longevity. I can't imagine a reason why they wouldn't last as long. I've had the Diamond Visions in my high beams for almost 3 years though. No issues.

Is your car tuned? It also depends on which kind of headers to go with- the long tube headers give a lot of hp/tq gains with a good tune- people say 460-480 rwhp. With a tune there won't be any CELs, without I'm not sure. check out eurocharged
