Fuel filter
After doing a lot of online research and looking into the Mercedes EPC software, I cannot find a filter to purchase nor the location of it on the car. Is the fuel filter not a replaceable item?
My 08 mustang picked up about 60 horsepower from the filter change. Filter was almost clogged. I didn't realize it was driving that bad. Lool
Every other car I have ever owned or worked on had those and a inline fuel filter somewhere else in the system because the socks only catch big stuff.

This is always IN ADDITION TO an inline fuel filter. It's always the case - the sock is just to protect against any large particulate matter that might get into the tank.
I've searched around, and a lot of MB models actually have the fuel filter INSIDE the tank, inline with the pump. And they look as big as a can of soda. Maybe this is what Merc63 means?

Unless you track the car then it is after every weekend....LOL J/K.
Here is China, the fuel quality is bad (very bad)... so I was looking to replace the fuel filter and was also surprised not to find this filter as spare parts. Do you know how to replace the filter you mentioned? and how to source the filter itself?
Much appreciated.
