weird sound when driving in heavy rain

weird sound when driving in heavy rain
Just found something wrong with the car.
Was driving in heavy rain today and found there was some weird sound from the left front side of the car in the vehicle. The sound seems coming from the tyre but i am not sure. The sound is just like the flattened tyres made on the ground. It happened only in the heavy rain and only when the car moved from standing still. And even the cabin can feel the shake. I checked the tyre but it seems ok. There is not any warning light coming out and cant feel the loss of power, or maybe i drove very slow in the rain.
Will that be related to the tyre patching i did a week ago?

Did you have the gas pedal pressed down all the way 
. It could be from the tire patch, maybe get it checked out by a tech to make sure nothing else besides the tires is causing the problem.

Sorry for bumping an old thread;
Wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue. My 2013 sedan has recently started making an engine drone noise when driving in heavy rain. Seems to occur after hitting standing water/hydroplaning. First time it happened I thought it was my tire, as the noise comes from the front passenger side. Then I thought maybe it was the traction control, but the noise changes with engine RPM. The video below is a bit hard to hear over the road noise and my sqeaky wiper blades. If you listen closely you can hear the low droning sound. It will go away after I pull over, but as soon as I hit another puddle it comes back. Anyone have an idea what this is? It doesn't trigger a CEL, and the car is fine in dry weather. I want to have some idea before I take it in to the shop (have an appointment next week). Its pretty much impossible to replicate unless its raining heavily that day.

I've had the same issue too before, but I don't drive in the rain often enough to try and track it down lol. I did see that lots of cars experience it. Just search "heavy rain, drone, exhaust, heat".

Holy crap. I had the same thing happen to me time to time on my 507 in rain.
I never figured it out.......also didn't drive much in rain last few years and havent noticed since.
