Tick tick tickkkkkkkiinnggggggg been for 7-10 minutes until I went to drive on him! It's really normal? I thought the oil are quickly diverges in the engine.

 

Today I started my engine after 3 days of downtime in the garage. This ticking sound was not! The engine works good.

 

I had a similar sound right after I changed the oil at the dealer. My car is normally parked and I drive it on weekends or sometimes it sits for a couple weeks with no driving. I was told it was a Cam Adjuster. The sound is gone now. It only appeared for a couple days after a cold start up then it disappears. Now even after a cold start up I don't hear it.

 

I drive my car on weekends too. And often it sits at garage is without driving.
