Engine noise, Heeeeelp!!!
Hi all. My car was in the garage for two weeks, I did not drive on it. Today I heard a noise from the engine of my C63, when I started it in the morning. When the engine is warmed up the sound disappeared. I went to my dealer MB but they have not heard anything bad. This was no sound.
My car 2014 and has only 7000 kilometers mileage. Only 7000!!!! What's that sound? What could be broken?
When I came home this sound no longer appear. The sound only in a cold engine.
Help please!!!!

I had the same sound momentarily and then drove the car. If you just had an oil change, possible oil did not circulate all the way through. After some driving, sound disappeared. It was a loud ticking sound like that. Only happened after an oil change. Possibly oil drained down a lot from valves so just let it run for a while.

After driving it a few miles is the sound still there or has it disappeared? Thinking oil needs to circulate. If it continues then you will need to go and have it checked at dealership. May have a bad lifter.

It can be made worse by using a oil that is thinner when cold and the level of oil in the sump may cause it to happen as well but I am not sure why as that makes little sense. It does not hurt to check that your oil level is correct from time to time and keep it close to the upper level.
Not really anything to be overly concerned about at this point.

With a simple search Emkovich you would have found at least 5 similar threads in the past month covering your same issue...sry if I would rather post a funny meme than take your sound issue seriously.
No warning lights, nothing comes up on your screen saying to worry and the noise goes away after a while....nothing to worry about SO...

Judging from the comments this sound may occur due to the fact that the car is a long time without movement? Need to start the engine more frequently???
