KRIS' BUILD THREAD V2.5
As we prepare for winter months here in Toronto, memories of down shift crackles and palm drenching speeds will have to do while our Beasts hibernate. Safe from snow and salt, monsters lay dormant in our garages
End of the season means pictures of the progress I made with the C63. The beast has been nothing but a pleasure to drive this year, spending some time with the car and the new additions truly amaze me. The car has such a personality, it is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I thoroughly enjoy the run ins with an unsuspecting exotic every now and then Or the "is that sound coming from your car?" It has been nothing but smiles this season.
A general note about the build: I am doing this slowly, but trying very hard to do it right the first time. I thank all the people from around the world who I have became friends with simply because of our mutual love for this car. I look forward to a community of passionate enthusiasts years to come.
Enough of the long-talk, lets get into the upgrades.

Here's to a close of another wonderful season!

They are okay but no adjustable dampening and they are notorious for destroying front strut mount bearings. I will be swapping them out next year for another setup.

Any noticeable difference with the renntech throttle bodies? Also any drone with the eisenmann I'm thinking of picking one up since the stock exhaust with longtubes is raspy as ****.

Throttle body changes the driving dynamics of the car tremendously. It's a whole new animal. Throttle blips are vicious. The car feels much smoother
Throughout the power band.

All these numbers are on eurocharged dyno jet.
I dyno'd the car on a mustang dyno and made 498 whp. But I use the eurocharged figures as I had all my dyno's done at eurocharged post any parts I installed. The biggest thing for me was to ensure the parts made the power they claimed.

Kriston - tell me more about your fender flares please. I read your past threads, but it's not clear exactly what was done. Were they just rolled/stretched, or did they add material and shape a new fender? What was the total cost with paint? I can't imagine it was more than the HMS fenders would be.
I'm looking at the HMS group buy, but don't want FRP back there, and would rather roll them if I can, or have a bodyshop make them out of metal. I only need 1.5" like you to fit 295's back there, and I like how yours turned out.
Also your carbon fender liners - more details on this?
Thanks

I also have the renntech intakes, which made almost 10WHP. The Race setup eliminates the secondary cats which frees up a few ponies as well.

The OEM fenders were pulled and re-molded, then smoothened and re-painted with the quarter panels / bumper. I wanted to keep it as OEM as possible, since we pulled the fenders there was a gap between the OEM fender liner and the mounting points where it connects to the rear bumper and fender arches. I do not have a pic of the fender liners yet, but will post them up once I swap my wheels out. The HMS fenders are wider than my setup, but these are functional and allows me to run much more aggressive setups on the car. All while retaining a factory look. Cost for it was about 3K Canadian.
