C63 507 oz delivery standard option LSD?
Hi Guys,
New here and Id love your help as it seems I have hit a wall with MB Australia.
Ive recently purchased a 2013 507 and I am wanting to know if it is fitted with a LSD. I have read that it was a standard option in the 507s but have rung MB Australia and they have said that the VIN I have quoted did not have the LSD fitted as a factory option. But was it a factory option or standard??

Hey Luke,
In Aus the rear locking diff was definitely an option, not standard for the 507 Ed. It was quite pricey too. I think somewhere around $5000!
Forgot to say Congrats on your purchase! Anyway if you're after an aftermarket diff, there's vendors here that can sought you out. Just do a search for WaveTrac or Quaife. Unless you want OEM, even with out exchange rates, shipping etc. should still work out to be cheaper I think.

lsd was not std. however, with the 2015 507 coupes, they made all options as std such as the tech packages like blind spot, radar cruise control, etc. mainly as an incentive to sell the remaining cars. however, lsd was still an option

Run your VIN in the other thread to get the data card just to be sure. It will be option code 471 if you have it.

Thanks for all your feedback guys.
Im getting a bit frustrated as I have rung Mercedes twice now an been told that the 2013 507 was fitted standard with LSD.
If that is the case would it come up in the data card?
Who am I to believe?

You can also buy aftermarket LSD, which is better than OEM anyways
