Wheel/Tire/Offset Question
Need to double check on this and need some fast responses... Put it in the wheel thread, but I need to make a move on these wheels and tires fast because mine are so shot I can't drive on them.
I want the Niche Misano M116's in Anathracite... From reading on this site it looks like I can do 19x8.5 on the front with a +42mm offset and 19x9.5 on the rears with a +50mm offset. Tires are going to be Nittos, 245/35/19 and 275/30/19... Does this sound like it would work? In one of the threads I searched for, someone (Roswell I think) said that for 19x8.5 fronts a 40-45 offset was necessary, and for 19x9.5 rears a 48-55 offset was necessary. I've done research, I just want to be damn sure.
I was pretty sure that the 42/50mm offsets (F/R respectively) were the way to go, but my wheel shop is telling me otherwise... Wanted to get some additional opinions.
Also, less related, but does anyone know of a good source for centercaps?
Thanks
Matt

You will be good. I had wheels built to custom offsets, I am +40 front and +50 rear running 245/35-19 front and 275/30-19 rear. Stock suspension and never once any issue, no rubbing issues, no clearance issues, no issues what so ever.

You should be safe with those offsets (F +42;R +50) and 245/35/19 Front; 275/30/19 Rear even after you are lowered. Slight possibility you will rub lightly on the right rear once lowered.

I'm now running 19x10 +50 with 275/30/19 no problem.

Hi guys
Sorry for digging up an old thread, just felt it better than starting a new thread asking a similar question.
I am looking for wheels.
So I found a set with is 19x8.5 + 32 (I think) fronts, and 19x9.5 rear + 34 (I think) rears.
I told the guy I was certain the rears won't fit, and he told me he will try source a 19x9.5 + 45 rear.
So my question, would I have issues with rubbing once I lower the car? I'd be using a 265/35/19 tyre, maybe 275/35/19.

The tires you are planning to run on the rear are too tall. You will need a 265/30/19 or 275/30/19.
With a 19x9.5 +45 you will probably need to run a 255/30/19. You might just be able to run a 265/30/19. You will likely be at the limit and there is a possibility it will snick now and then.
I was running a 265/30/19 MPSS on a 19x10 +52 and it used to rub a little on the right rear on my 2012 while I could run a 275/30/19 MPSS on my 2010 on the same wheels.
