13' black series for sale on Copart??

salvage title (TX?), repair estimate $15,382 , Albany NY, auction scheduled Monday 1/11, current high bid $21,300.
I wouldn't call it 'pretty clean', but it looks far better than this brand new 2016 C63S with 1,190 miles on it that's had the crap knocked out of it. Someone must be crying over this . . . ouch.

I don't think the price will be staying at low 20s if im not wrong.
My guess is that it would cross the 45k and go slightly north from there
This car is almost quite bare IMO but pretty neat with the glass roof and 4 seats!

Also, why would this have been scrapped with 'only' $15k worth of damage. Surely insurance would have repaired that.
Maybe someone can run the VIN and see what else is going on here. VIN:WDDGJ7HB8DG008750

A CBS in where i am had a minor fender bender on the rear/side on the right damaging
1)lights
2)bumper
3)diffuser
4)fake exhaust tips
5)windscreen
6)side skirt
7)carbon diffuser
The repair cost him somewhere in the range of 27k usd just for a 1 to 1 swap without any damages to the monocoque or chassis bars etc.
Given that the car had a front accident i would assume that the front lip/lights/bonnet/cf parts/crash bar and maybe even the engine might be damaged.
Anything is okay as long as it's not engine related i guess

Given that particular spec of the car the 'BS' parts are not that expensive if you are willing to compromise on quality and go aftermarket with CFRP replicas etc. that could get you the car for less then 55g's and inclusive of the aero pack
.Wheels i have seen a BN set going for 3.9k oem excluding tyres
What i'm worried about is the crash bar and the impact which like you said includes oil cooler/suspension and worse of all, engine..
Although like someone said insurance shouldn't of written it off with 15-20k in damage so something else is probably going on that isn't listed

From what i read it's going for a little north of 100g's over in the states?
It might be more expensive due to the premium but from the parts i see its about 20-30% premium in price that would be fine too.
With that savings like i said you could get the car at a reasonable price.
The expensive crazy premium parts from what i know are those found on the CLK DTM where the front bumper itself would be 11k usd.
the parts are glued on instead of drilled due to weight saving issues etc and it takes many man hour to produce it.

Repair estimate there is $52k. That sounds more like it.

Looks ROUGH
Doubt those are OE parts that are on it now. When it was sold in TX it didn't have front or rear bumpers or those wheels. Someone made it look better for the auction and is trying to flip it for a few bucks.
It took a massive hit, the new auction pics just make it look like it was dinged passenger side front.

oh my...
i guess thats the reason for the ****ty picture it had earlier on.
I'm pretty sure that's a totalled car.
PS:The guy taking the picture looks like a snowman though

If the car runs fine it will sell in the $60k range with a salvage title. If you have the cash and want a track car assuming everything was rebuilt to spec this is a great deal.

The damage might even be more than meets the eye.
I'm guessing monocoque damages, crash bar, engine mounting etc etc
