salvage title (TX?), repair estimate $15,382 , Albany NY, auction scheduled Monday 1/11, current high bid $21,300.
I wouldn't call it 'pretty clean', but it looks far better than this brand new 2016 C63S with 1,190 miles on it that's had the crap knocked out of it. Someone must be crying over this . . . ouch.

At $20k that's a pretty good deal. Figure about double the estimate to get it right I would think just looking at the photos.

Clk Dtm c63 bs u wont wanna know the rest
I don't think the price will be staying at low 20s if im not wrong.
My guess is that it would cross the 45k and go slightly north from there
This car is almost quite bare IMO but pretty neat with the glass roof and 4 seats!

Tough to resell with a salvage title though. Wonder if it runs. I'm assuming it does.
Also, why would this have been scrapped with 'only' $15k worth of damage. Surely insurance would have repaired that.
Maybe someone can run the VIN and see what else is going on here. VIN:WDDGJ7HB8DG008750

A CBS in where i am had a minor fender bender on the rear/side on the right damaging
1)lights
2)bumper
3)diffuser
4)fake exhaust tips
5)windscreen
6)side skirt
7)carbon diffuser
The repair cost him somewhere in the range of 27k usd just for a 1 to 1 swap without any damages to the monocoque or chassis bars etc.
Given that the car had a front accident i would assume that the front lip/lights/bonnet/cf parts/crash bar and maybe even the engine might be damaged.
Anything is okay as long as it's not engine related i guess

Passenger side front heavy, need new oil cooler at least and suspension may be damaged etc. I get that they are expensive to fix, thanks. The reason I was asking is that the listing says $15k to repair. Just the front body panels and wheels are going to get close to that. And here in the US, if it's just cosmetic it wouldn't be written off by an insurance company. 15% of the car value is a fix, not a scrap. Something's not adding up.

Given that particular spec of the car the 'BS' parts are not that expensive if you are willing to compromise on quality and go aftermarket with CFRP replicas etc. that could get you the car for less then 55g's and inclusive of the aero pack .
Wheels i have seen a BN set going for 3.9k oem excluding tyres
What i'm worried about is the crash bar and the impact which like you said includes oil cooler/suspension and worse of all, engine..

the repair costs are probably 20k-ish ...i rear ended someone 2 years ago and had to replace the hood/light/rad/bumper/grille/quater panel (looks similar to what this BS needs) and it was roughly 15k for the repairs ..unless the black series parts cost a bit more which i'm sure they do
Although like someone said insurance shouldn't of written it off with 15-20k in damage so something else is probably going on that isn't listed

From what i read it's going for a little north of 100g's over in the states?
It might be more expensive due to the premium but from the parts i see its about 20-30% premium in price that would be fine too.
With that savings like i said you could get the car at a reasonable price.
The expensive crazy premium parts from what i know are those found on the CLK DTM where the front bumper itself would be 11k usd.
the parts are glued on instead of drilled due to weight saving issues etc and it takes many man hour to produce it.

Here it is from when it was sold in TX with a barely better view of the front damage
https://abetter.bid/en/29412565-2013...s-benz-c63_amg
Repair estimate there is $52k. That sounds more like it.
More here: http://autogeria.com/vehicle/index/4290729
Looks ROUGH
Doubt those are OE parts that are on it now. When it was sold in TX it didn't have front or rear bumpers or those wheels. Someone made it look better for the auction and is trying to flip it for a few bucks.
It took a massive hit, the new auction pics just make it look like it was dinged passenger side front.

i guess thats the reason for the ****ty picture it had earlier on.
I'm pretty sure that's a totalled car.

http://m.ebay.com/itm/201457124785?_mwBanner=1. Seen these on eBay a while back. Had them on my watch list. Maybe these were of that black series. Shows the guy who was selling them was also from texas. Looks like they kept these beauties from the insurance company and decided to make a coupe Bucks by selling them

Well it is still a bargain I think. Somebody rebuilt it in most part. Seeing the original salvage pictures and the one from copart oil cooler and line have been fixed. Actually looks like the whole front has been redone. It is just missing right headlight, grill and bumper cover. Rear seems to have been done too. As well as new four wheels (in black this time).
If the car runs fine it will sell in the $60k range with a salvage title. If you have the cash and want a track car assuming everything was rebuilt to spec this is a great deal.

I think whoever is going to buy to get an actual in person inspection. Reason being most front end damage results with frame damage and if this is the case the car is pretty much worthless. Can't really straight out the frame and since it's a performance vehicle alignment is critical. This could be a reason why the insurance decided to salvage the car rather to repair.

The damage might even be more than meets the eye.
I'm guessing monocoque damages, crash bar, engine mounting etc etc
