Prospective buyer of c63 AMG 507 edition coupe
I found a 2014 c63 AMG 507 Edition coupe, certified pre-owned warranty until end of 2018, 18k miles
What's a reasonable price for this car? Original MSRP of $92k
Dealer is asking $62k
options list is here:
I think the car looks great, and sounds wonderful. The upgraded brakes really make a difference.
I've never owned a German car before, so this may be interesting.
What do you guys think?

But since you posted about a 507 how about member HBC350 who might have his 507 with under 7k miles for sale. Probably exactly the same build you were looking at. He is looking at a Jaguar F type and might make the switch. PM him too. GL

I'm still considering this car, or something similar.
Main points on my want list:
1. coupe or convertible
2. fast
3. handles well
I'm kinda torn between this car and the nissan GTR, or a Jag F-type R or S
In my country a Jaguar is one of the worse depreciated car especially the F type even though the sound and performance are good so best is go for a used one but you will lose the benefit of having 2 seats

If you want to mod it or track it, GTR hands-down. The drivetrain is extraordinary. The styling and interior are nothing to write home about, but I could live with it if it wasn't going to be a daily driver. In fact, I'm kinda wishing I had gone with one instead of the C63....

F-Type? Definitely a consideration but for the money, go for the R. If you get an S you'll feel like dog crap every time an R drives past you!
The brakes do feel very nice however, there are many c63 amg in the low $50's or less
C63 performance package and C63 507 have same brakes so not really worth the price difference if you only look for brake feel?
Test drive all of the cars that you're interested in, then you will have a clear winner.
Also, as other members have shared, the 507 a little bit over priced but not by much. All nice cars but for me the 63 is the winner by a long shot.
Bottom line buy what you like and can afford

I like the 507 styling better simply because of the hood and wheels. The extra HP is barely noticeable by me and I had a 2009 C63 Sedan before this 507.
I feel as though I got a fair deal, at least it was $5k less from where we started. Also had them throw in some all weather mats and a trunk liner. The CPO was the clincher for me though - having the extra year of warranty is nice. Good luck, i just love mine, just wish it were Spring !!

Anything that is matte is nice!
