Will 255/35R19 or 265/35R19 work on the rear?
Do you think I can bump up from a 30 series to a 35 series on the rear for my stock 507 wheels on stock suspension (it's a sedan if that makes a difference)? I see a bunch of threads about using this size on the front, but nothing for the back.
I know most people go wider, but going wider and a higher aspect ratio is really gonna put me in trouble...maybe I could squeeze a 265/35 under there?

I'm hoping sticking with the 255, but buying a quality tire (something like a MPSS) makes up for the lack of width - and then teh aspect ratio takes care of the ride.
The 265/35 is likely to be too tall of a tire which may lead to rubbing issues, even on a stock suspension, particularly on the rear passenger.

I'm running a 245/40/18 for winter which are 25.7" diameter with no issues, so I was hoping I could run a 255/35/19 which is only 0.3" taller (though I guess the extra 10mm of width compounds the issue).
Back to stock size, who is running a 255/30/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport - according to TireRack they have a 10" wide tread width which is 0.5" to 1" wider than most other tires that size
that must be a typo correct?.?.?.?
Same with Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08/AD08Rs, they also run wider.
255/30/19 Michelin PSS, runs close to some sizes 265/30/19.
Fun Fact: Hankook RS3s also did this too, their 255/40/17 was known as a "cheater tire".
that will make costco happy too that I'm using the stock size

245/35/19 and 275/30/19. However, if you're running Michelin PSS, you must run a 19x10 +50 or higher in the rear for it to clear. And you won't be able to go too low with that setup either.
In regards to front, 245/35/19 is perfect. Most people run it with an 8.5 +45 / 8.5 +40, 9 +40 will also work too, even on a PSS.
If you're looking to run a 8.5 / 9.5 +45 setup, then you can still run a 245/275 setup, but you need to run a Hankook V12, as they run skinnier.
Hope that helps!
