Just got back to Austalia and back in the C63. Had the latest 6 rib belt and pulley system from Magnuson installed, looks smick. Power is up to 429rwkw @ 9.5psi (was 375rwkw)....

The "SledgeHammer" pulley upgrade is an 8-rib solution, with 13 overdrive ratios between 7% and 62% (3 crank pulley sizes & 5 supercharger pulley sizes).
The kit does not include spare rear tires.
Box is out and back in Sydney getting looked at by the guys that built it. Looks like it has burnt out two of the clutches. Waiting to hear back from Weistec on the issue as its very low ks on the box.
Quick update. Weistec are sending our replacement clutches (not yet arrived unfortuantely) New TCU unit also being installed as a preventative measure.
Hopefully car will be back together and ready to run next month.
In the meantime couple of quick pics showing the power progression from Stock to Headers to Supercharged and lastly the new Sledgehammer pulley system from Magnuson installed and tuned with HP tuners (almost doubled the power from stock at this stage). Will update qtr times once run.
Next steps will be head bolts, SLS buckets, drag slicks and more boost
amazing Dave! we've been messaging each other on YouTube. haha.
any idea what HP this might translate to for a Dynojet? it seems the dyno you are using is one that rates low like mustang dumps do. conversion to horsepower is looking between 575-583 rwhp or so.
Not that it matters much now, but I agree that stock dyno figure does seem very low. On a hot day on that very same dyno at VCM my stock 507 measured 300rwkw. Strange that yours measured so low.
In any case, lack of power does not seem to be an issue now...
Yep, I thought the dyno results were a bit low but they have been consistent through the upgrades and the qtr times/mph corrolate well. The first figure was run basically straight after I bought the car so maybe was in dire need of a service and a good thrashing to waken it up
Will be interesting to get a qtr time with the new power along with some sticky tyres, I am hoping for a mid 10, maybe a bit quicker if it hooks up well.
using basic math to compare roughly versus the Magnuson published dyno graph...it looks like roughly this translates to 494.7 kW = 663 whp...but this should only be taken with a grain of salt. without a real comparison on the same dyno this number really means nothing.

Between your stock and sledgehammer test, you went from 227 to 429 kw which is a crazy gain 304hp to 575hp, a gain of 270hp or almost doubling your power level.
304hp is a crazy low dyno reading, so either that dyno reads about 100 hp lower than average dyno's stock or something else is funny with your stock number.

Yep agreed the stock reading seems low, the car seemed to pull well when i first picked it up but felt much better after the headers, tune and service. Unfortunately i didnt get a qtr mile time before i started modifying the car so cant compare times. Im really only interested in real world results (qtrs) going forward so will be interesting to see how it goes
I have just had the Sledgehammer pulley installed on my car. Great design, we increased the boost from ~5.5psi to 11psi with some great gains. Looking forward to putting in some more boost later this year.

Regardless, looks like a monster from that last graph - good luck getting it to hook, should be pretty serious with traction!
My bad. Didn't really go through the graphs to see what they were. I was eyeing the overdrive kit also, but I am genuinely concerned about running more boost especially because i don't have p31, so was interested in seeing what other people are running. I'm currently on 7.5psi, trying to figure out what is a "safe" number to run.

My car also doesnt have the P31 package. I plan to run the car for a while with this power and see how it goes. So far so good apart from the tranny letting go. The new clutches just arrived so hopefully will be back on the road soon.
I will be looking at doing headbolts, SLS buckets and forged pistons later in the year to ensure no future issues
im running factory bottom end none p31 with 60mm pulley 13psi car makes 680whp with ms109
day to day 600hp on 67mm 10psi
only reason i capped at 680whp is because we run out of injector
Guess I have a lee way of 2.5 psi. I am already sitting at 600whp, maybe because of injectors? This was my dyno when i got my car re-tuned after about 11/12 runs.
once the transmission is in, do you think you could record your RPM during driving and racing with the new transmission? I'd like to see what a difference the new transmission makes in regards to shift speed and quality.

Thank you.
Yep, no problem. I have quite a few videos of qtr mile runs with the standard transmission so can easily do some comparison videos for you.
