Fuel Pump Issue? Tune Issue? Trans?
For the past few months, my 2012 C63 has been more delicate than usual.
It has a Eurocharged tune and x pipe with 153,400kms and the tach is sputtering under acceleration. Stomp on it at it'll start to rev up then drop down then back up normally. I only drive in M mode.
Any ideas?
Recently did an oil change, spark plugs and O2 sensors.
Thanks in advance
Plug in a scanner and share your STFT/LTFT data for a starting point.
Otherwise we're just throwing darts in the dark...
When I did the last oil change, spark plugs and o2 sensors, the scanner didn't produce anything and the car would not replicate the issue at that time.
Please stay tuned.

You drive around, you floor the accelerator, the rpm climb then there's a sputter and the tach drops dead incredibly quick, then picks up again.
If this is similar, look into grounding.
At the time, I noticed that the top portion of the manifold did not have a clear grounding path, and several of the sensors were positioned there.
Grounding problems don't throw codes either.
I looked at the M156 and the manifold grounds to the rest of the engine through the aluminum bolts, that fasten it to the heads
I wonder if the heads ground to the rest of the engine .......... Through the head bolts.
Anyway, as the mileage climbs, grounding issues can appear. Try to run a simple ground strap from the manifold to a ground point on the chassis.
Now, are you sure no codes, or are you just referring to no CELs? Cos he never had anything that indicated a code but when we ran my bluedriver we pulled up code P0087 re fuel rail/system pressure. I think it ended up being a glazed fuel sock or something like that.
Test Report from the scan shows P0013 - "Continuous camshaft adjustment (RIGHT): Incorrect position of the exhaust camshaft (P0013)"
I don't know what to make of this.
A shop other than the dealer would need to have a set of M156 cam hold down tools and a tester capable of re initializing the cams. I'm not sure that the snap-on that many shops have could do this.
The adjusters appear to me to be sold in sets. Also i noticed that there is a new part number, there probably was an update to the design.
When these are replaced, I would replace the special washer that retains the assemblies too, if it's not in the set.
