Expected a beating, and that's exactly what I saw.
The M5 did seem to start a fraction earlier than the C63, which does make quite a big difference.

Just never going to run with all that bottom end torque of those turbo's - would look the same against the current gen E63 or probably even a c63 with the turbo motors too.
I have a turbo car and the torque is addictive and the ease of making power for short money is a big plus, but I specifically bought a w204 for the wonderful motor - technology has made things faster, but not necessarily better, the 6.2 is one of my favorite motors of all time and despite being slower these days than a lot of new turbo engines, it is still a better engine!
