NO, I had no dealings with Mag1c Carp3t. He got his headers from a local shop who tried to use shady avenues to get them. We caught on to them and were subsequently paid. The shop even tried to spin them off as the name of my partners side business that builds UTV parts.
To be honest I've been staying out of this. Remember I am just about forced to protect our product. If you dont you risk losing it to the public domain. That will not be the case with all the hard work Ive put into making these headers. Golan and Auto Talent amongst others will soon be receiving correspondence from my attorneys letting them know they are selling a product that violates our protected design. I may come off as the bad guy and thats fine. As long as the cause is right... and protecting our design is a just cause. Dont get me wrong this whole situation sucks. I'd rather make cool parts and talk headers and exhausts all day than deal with this.

How is any of this Mag1c Carp3t's fault ? Again you are attacking the consumer !! Why ? You can try and sue everyone under the sun but if you have crappy customer service and customer relations nobody is going to do business with you. Instead of bringing litigation why don't you try to differentiate yourself from the competition ? Come out with a better design, pride yourself on giving the best customer service possible, reduce your price. On your current trajectory your going to alienate anyone who would potentially want to do business with you. In actuality you are Auto Tallent's best marketing campaign. The more you throw temper tantrums the more people are going to want to save $8-900 and do business with them. Like you said it's the same design anyway.

I designed these headers to differentiate from the competition. It's my design and as I said before I have a responsibility to protect my design.
Ask any legal professional, if you own something and dont do anything to protect it you risk losing it. So this is what I doing... protecting it. Not just by showing my objection to FI and Auto Talent here in the forum that I sponsored for 10 years or so. Also by seeking legal action. This stuff takes time. I dont want to get into detail, but I have to go after all parties. Just remember I didnt ask for this, Nor do I want to do this. Its a matter of I have to do this. Trust me I'd rather talk cars this this crap.

My headers were purchased directly through Ardent the manufacturer that supplies MBH. My indie shop has a great relationship with them, they are local to us. Ryan the owner and fabricator for MBH does custom exhausts for us locally. He's fabricated a custom set of resonator deletes for me and a full system for the indie shops owners cars.
P.S. It's not your design or engineering. All you do is brand it MBH and resale them. Im not even sure why I'm advertising your company in my sig I should just advertise the manufacturers name.

And I for one hope that MBH wins! Pretty soon, if all that happens is people steal designs, copy them, and undercut the original company, thus putting them out of business, there will be no businesses willing to risk it by developing new products for our cars.

They are not threats. You dont understand how product development and your rights work. I have an obligation to protect our product for everyone who is involved with MBH, and that includes employees, dealers, customers and so on. If you do not protect your rights to a product you risk losing it. Its that simple. I own another company and have other means of income, but for the guys employed by us that grind it out every day making these headers, they dont. Im obligated to protect this product and protect their job, so it isn't lost to copied and counterfeit reproductions. If you think this is something I want to do, you are crazy. I have already spent thousands of dollars with my attorney on this matter.

I would never considering doing any business with a person like yourself it must really suck to have those self esteem issues

Whats interesting int his situation is; I've been a sponsor of this site for like 10 years and if someone thinks they are going to come here with a rip off of our product without a fight they got another thing coming.
