Purchasing a low mile 2013 C63
Hey Guys,
Seriously considering a 2013 C63 from a MB dealer. It's under 20K miles and still under factory warranty.
Should I be concerned with getting an independent PPI or any upcoming inspections? The next inspection upcoming is the B (20K) which doesn't seem like a major deal and I'm thinking no on the PPI since it's under warranty and being sold by a MB dealer.
It seems the 2013MY has been relatively problem free in terms of any fleet wide issues...
Love to hear any thoughts or advice...
Thanks

you should be good. I bought a 14 with 17k miles and wasnt too concerned since it is still under facotry warranty. Just take a good look and make sure nothing is broken from abuse as that would not be covered.

Buy it, drive it, enjoy it.
PPI's are a cheap way to establish some peace of mind, but probably no needed on that car. Under warranty... MB dealer... You'll be good.

Factory warranty is 4 yrs or 50k miles (edit: corrected). How much factory warranty is really left? If you only have a few weeks left, PPI suddenly starts to look like a good idea. If they've extended the warranty and you have a couple more years of coverage, I'd just have someone look it over to verify that there hasn't been anything - like accident damage - that warranty would not cover.

That being sasid, zcct04 gave me good advice when I was purchasing my c63. PPI is a good idea but I would say youre being extra careful if you're buying from a mercedes benz dealer. Choice is yours.

About time someone showed up here and finally bought a c63 instead of feeding us the whole "I plan on buying a c63 in 7 years and I wan't to stage 4 supercharge it then add turbos."
Congrats on the purchase, looking forward to seeing it.
