WTB: 2012-2014 C63
Looking for Edition 1 or 507 C63 Sedan. Looking for low mile car and prefer magno color.
This C63 got away from us at the end of 2011 (wasn't the best new baby car at the time) and now the wife wants it. So Edition 1 or 507 if any one is looking to sell.

You know the Edition 1 sedan was the standard 451hp without the AMG Development Package right? Matte paint, interior stitching and 19" wheels - cosmetic stuff.
The 2012 E1 will be much cheaper, but if you want the full package the 507 really is a better car.

This is for the wife to drive, I would prefer to get her the 507 but Edition 1 is ok for her. She is more about the cosmetic stuff and I am more about the HP. She talks about not buying the one pictured so hopefully I can find either one.

One thing to consider is the matte paint and the maintenance it requires.
They should be hand washed when possible. Only touchless automatic washes with no wax or any sealer.
My friend has a 16' C63s Edition 1 and he ended up wrapping it in Expel Stealth which made the upkeep much simpler.

I have already been practicing. Our wagon is wrapped. I use Dr. Beasley's products on it. I have had no issues with it in the last 2 years it has been wrapped. It does require a little bit more attention for upkeep.

In my opinion, nothing nicer than a matte finish - especially how it reacts to different lighting conditions. Would like to see MB extend more matte options like the sintered bronze wider in the product range.

I agree. We love the matte finish. If we find a non magno then we could always get it clear bra in satin which makes it look matte. I was going to do it to my Black Series but I like the gloss silver.
Don't let the matte finish scare you off. The paint has a very hard finish. Poster is correct though, it's recommended to hand wash and avoid waxes and sealants, but is sure is nice to have weekend therapy sessions washing and detailing, plus you never have to wax.
