WTB: Weistec Oil/Air Separator & Vented Hood
As the title states, I am looking to buy a Weistec Oil/Air Separator & Vented Hood.
I would rather not pay full retail for these, so I figured I would give this a shot.
Looking for a used (but still in great condition) Weistic Oil/Air Separator. They retail on the Weistec site for $629.
Also looking for a FL carbon fiber hood with vents, an authentic 507 hood or a replica 507 hood. If you are selling one, know someone who is selling one or if you know of a site that sells one that fits great and is a great price, please let me know. I cannot justify paying $3,000 + paint for an authentic 507 hood.
Any help with these would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty uncommon parts to see float around the forum. I got my catch can off of someone on here that got it off a group buy but that was the last one I saw get posted on here about 3 years ago. I did see recently on instagram that one of the guys from Eurocharged was teasing a catch can for C63 so just maybe it will be in a sensible price range when it comes out.

You can make your own OAS for half of the cost of the Weistec unit and get a new EGR valve in the process to boot. The EGR valve (IIRC MB calls it a vent hose or something along those lines) is about $150, as is a half-decent aftermarket catch can. The rubber hose and some worm gear clamps if you really want to go high-tech are going to to cost you another $15. Cut and remove the short hose from the new EGR - you now have OEM mounts as well as a new EGR, mount the can where Weistec does near the passenger headlight (or wherever you can find the room), and run & clamp the new hose to the mounts and catch can. Congratulate yourself on fabricating your own mod and celebrate with a beverage of your choice.

Then you will be waiting for a very long time. ModeCarbon has a carbon fiber one for a little over 3k. ECS tuning has a 507 hood conversion kit for around $3500. Those are about the cheapest you will find unless you magically run into someone selling theirs. If you do run into this sort of unicorn and they have 2, send one my way lol.

I'll go that route in a few weeks if nothing else pops up. There have been a couple that have popped up around here that I've missed out on over the past few months. Figured I'd give this a try first.

Someone right now on the FB owners page is selling a hood for 1500 euros, but he said he will ship anywhere. Which is like $1600 USD. Don't think youll find a better price

Did you jump on this hood or no? If not, you mind pointing me in the direction of this guy? Even if i have to pay for shipping it sounds like it could be a steal!
