Replacement Pads for my 2012

I have a 2012 C63 AMG with the AMG development package. About 38k miles and time to replace the brakes.

Some questions: can anyone recommend some pads that will fit and possibly generate less brake dust? The OEM ones get my rims crazy dirty after a few days of driving. I don't do any track days or anything, maybe just some aggressive driving here and there.

Also, do the rears wear as quick as the fronts? Wonder if I should just replace all 4 at the same.

I like Always Maxi with the wings to keep from leaking. Good luck!

Haha. I have porterfield R4S. Much less dust. They kind of feel like the OEM pads but don't hold up to hard driving as well. A few hard applications from deep into triple digits and I start to get a lot of pad transfer, unlike the stock pads. Porterfields are a good street pad but I think the OEMs suited me better. Maybe next time I will try Endless pads (not sure which model yet as I haven't needed to shop for them).

C63 AMG PPP Saloon
Are the pads different on a PPP and non PPP car
Mine. Need changing but not the discs before some track action.
I was under the impression the difference was only the disc ?

I got the OEM last month , they worked very well. I couldn't find anything cheaper that would work well from what I read.

Follow up question. When ordering on sites like TopBrakes.com its asking if I have 1 or 2 piece rotors.

I've done some reading, and it looks like the P31 kit has "1.5" piece rotors (2 pieces but not screwed together like a true 2 piece rotor).

Does this mean when ordering pads I should order for 2 piece rotors?

Apologize for the dumb questions - first time I've had to wrench on this car.

Porterfield RS4. I went to them. Great stopping power and wayyyy less dust than OEM.

I ended up buying these off TopBrakes. Bought for the 2 piece rotor - hope that was the correct choice, I was unsure. Sounds like you have the same car I do (2012 P31)

Pads are the same no matter what rotor your car comes equipped with
