Press the up or down arrows on the steering wheel to get to the other submenus from within the Trip Menu. From Start; From Reset; Range and Fuel Consumption or Digital Speedometer.

. . . and use the left/right arrows (also on left spoke of steering wheel) to cycle through the other functions.

This occurs when specifically in one submenu inside the "trip" menu system. It tells you your miles and/or mpg since you last reset that trip meter (there are at least 2 trip meters).

To re-start the statistics for that trip meter from scratch again, press and briefly hold "OK".

If you instead simply scroll up or down or sideway, you will get to a different "screen". You might want to read the relevant sections of the owners manual again to refresh your knowledge of what info the rather complex MB system tarcks and can display for you. It's complex but impressive.

I like how no one questions this post on if he searched for the solution or not.

I think this is one of those situations (doing a search on "reset") which would yield an overwhelming number of irrelevant threads to examine, and I suspect the OP might reasonably have been pretty concerned to see "reset" appear on his dash, and wonder what happened to his ECU or an ECU subsystem!

I doubt that this ever even came up, as most people would have pressed a steering wheel menu navigation button before posting. It's like, all in the users manual.

It's a kinder, gentler forum these day. Lol.
