Ok guys, I'm a bit confused. I've seen how two videos on this subject one of which someone is using a key fob to change the sound. Now i know there are aftermarket cat back system which valving but i'm thinking this is something else in which you can do to the stock cat back system? BTW i did do a search just didn't find anything, my apologizes if im not searching the right wording etc..

P.s. looking for more sound and not sure of doing headers sye

If what you are looking for is more sound, look no further...

No valving in the W204 cat back or mufflers. You will need aftermarket exhaust if you want a valved exhaust system.

You can replace your second cats and/or resonator if you want more stock sounding bark.

So most likely this guy has an aftermarket exhaust (cat back) a side from res delelte and cats delete. Surprised he didn't say which one, made me think it was a stock exhaust just modified. Thanks though. https://youtu.be/PKuRTTNhWmE?t=39sht...RTTNhWmE?t=39s

Thanks but i want cats, don't like the smell of a none catted car these days. Also helps remove rasp imo.

Those pipes just remove the secondary cats that do little to nothing really. You will still retain your primary cats and will not get any smells other than normal.

Gotcha you are correct wasn't sure if they went straight to the stock header, GLWS though I still plan on doing l/t with cat's eventually. My post was mostly on the stock muffler, i thought they had a valve similar to my RS4 did that you can open / close though I was incorrect

Looks like we got an answer to this question since the own posted the answer on Youtube seen below. Seems to be stock headers and stock mufflers with deleted secondary and deleted res's with a custom bypass muffler setup.

"Richard Stanford custom built a qtp cutout system that had a pipe feeding from the cutout location back into the muffler tips... So that with a flip of a switch majority of the sound would bypass around the mufflers and straight out.. When it dumps under the car too much vibration occurs as the sound gets trapped under the car"
