Paint OEM Diffuser?

Has anyone painted their oem diffuser?
I believe I saw a red one a while ago and it didn't look too bad. I was wondering if anyone has done it in white.

I know it removes some contrast but I might actually give it a shot and do a little design with it, white with black accents.

I had my body shop paint my OEM plastic grey diffuser in gloss black (I have a white car) before I decided to upgrade and go with carbon fiber. I thought it looked great and I've since given it to a buddy of mine and he replaced his grey one with the painted one (and he has a black car). The texture is definitely noticeably different than the other painted surfaces of the car, but it looks MUCH nicer than the dull, plastic, grey OEM diffuser!

White looks too much, I think any colour but black, grey or carbon fibre doesnt work.

Not my car btw

I think solid black is the best color, but obviously if you can color match, I guess it will look decent. It will still look ricer, aftermarket kit crap-ish...

Wouldn't it just basically look like the non-sport regular w204 rear bumper? I know the sport trim still comes with a diffuser, but the elegance version or whatever doesn't.

Yea but it has small fins. Wasn't going to do full white anyway but just wanted to see thoughts.
