2010 C63 CEL P228F - Fuel Pump

Hey guys. My CEL has been on and off for the past couple of weeks, sometimes it would come on right after I fill up with gas, other times it would go off right after I filled up. I haven't noticed any issues driving, all seem fine.

I finally scheduled it into my dealer to have them check it out. They tell me that the check engine light is on for poor fuel pressure. The only way to correct the issue would be to replace the tandem fuel pump/ filter delivery units inside of the fuel tank itself. 4 Hours labor plus parts = around $1900.

My car has 82k miles. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thank you!

I had the same. P228E/P228F. I replaced the fuel rail pressure sensor. The car was hesitating and stalling sometimes. WOT seemed fine, but part throttle, especially around 2000 rpm was horrible. HG Motorsports told me I needed new pumps and the fuel sending unit. They told me that the pumps were drawing too much voltage at idle and too little at part throttle. I have 89k on the car.

Shouldn't I be noticing similar issues if my pumps were indeed dying? Or could mine be slowly dying and the symptoms are to come?

The dealer swapped out the fuel pressure sensor on the rail since they had one in stock, all seemed okay until they drove it then the light came back on with the same high fuel pressure codes

did any of you had any issues related to exhaust sound, response or acceleration.
I keep having the light coming up and lost deepness from the exhaust and soul of the car. Could be it?

C63 with a check engine light and a computer check report

All of a sudden my i got check engine light and my car started jerking, shaking and shivering on RPM 2000.
Here is the computer check report.
What exactly needs to be fixed or changed?
