Parts to replace while doing lifters job?
So MB is doing the lifters, cam camshaft adjusters, and a bunch of other stuff on my car. they are needing the car for 3 days
I am having them do the spark plugs which they are doing for just the parts cost ($218 CAD for parts).
what other parts would they be removing that i should replace and save labor cost on?

Have them do the idler pulleys, tensioner and serpentine belt while they're in there and have things out of the way.
And check your motor mounts.

i have warranty and i brought it in for a bunch of leaks and a noise coming from the engine on acceleration. they did a bunch of tests and opened a case with MB canada. so after getting approved for it, they are doing it under warranty

I have warrenty aswell bought from
mavis mercedes in Mississauga 2 k going in for service I'll mention all the noises it makes and see what they say hopefully they do mine aswell. I think we need sls parts to stop it from happening

Same man 2013 p31 but sometimes it makes lifter noise on warm start after sitting for 20 min or so. Sometimes cold start it ticks and keeps ticking untill it get warm. Not always just sometimes. Sometimes it also does it for a millisecond on the warm start up after 20 min or so
