Advice on 2013 C63 P31 Coupe
Howdy - was killing time this afternoon and came across a C63 P31 Coupe with 28k miles. It is clean on the inside and average on the outside. I open up the engine and I see oil spray splattered across the intake and across the top of the engine? See pics blown up...looks like directional splatter (technical term?).
Any idea on what this is? It was a little troubling and I didn't even bother to start it up.

Yes - it is definitely engine oil. The hood has the black fire/thermal insulator and I ran my fingers against it...wasn't saturated but it did feel a little slick. By the photos, it doesn't seem like it is flowing but at high speeds, it has to be spouting from somewhere? Perhaps it is the top gasket?

Sooooo....I go back to ask about looking into the issues with the car and it is no longer for sale pending "annual service..."
I should have immediately taken a picture of the VIN and filed it. If it comes back to the sales floor, I will follow up.

It seems to me these are signs telling you to stay away from the car.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Maybe someone took it out and beat it and overheated the PS fluid and smoked the rack and it leaked everywhere.
