FS: Weistec X-pipe
I have a weistec x-pipe for sale that came with my headers. My buddy and I installed the headers over the weekend with the x-pipe in place but the car didnt sound like it was supposed to IMO. I already had the resonator removed with a small h-pipe in its place and that was the sound I was looking to replicate. I pulled out the x-pipe today and put straight pipes in its place. That signature amg bark/tone/grunt is back so I have no need for the x-pipe. Entire system was ceramic coated (hence the black color).
I may be wrong but its my understanding that the weistec headers, mids and x-pipe are actually MBH products? Either way its a quailty made piece from weistec. Slip connectors on the 3" side and the other end will bolt directly up to the oem resonator using your existing oem clamps. It wont fit your stock exhaust unless you use a 3" to 2.5" reducer.
Two ways I could see someone using this. First, if you were looking to delete your secondary cats and add a x-pipe, you could use this pipe with a reducer on each side. Second, you already have headers and want to add an x-pipe.

I was thinking about buying one. My car with out an H or an X makes a terrible sound under moderate load. Wide open does sound really good though.
