selling c63 to carmax
Has anyone tried selling their c63 to car max lately? I have a 2013 with 25k miles and want to sell it without the hassle of a private sale. I'm not ready to trade in for something just want to sell.

Funny you posted this question...I just came back from CarMax today for an appraisal for my 2009 with 122k miles in Sacramento.
They offered 16k for it...it has a front windshield crack, scuffed paint on the left front bumper, two malfunctioning actuators, and an inoperable ABS/ESP module.
KBB actually offered a bit lower at 15.5k
I got it appraised two years prior at 80k miles and they offered 23-24k for it.
Hope this serves as a reference point for you.
If anything, just take it in to get it appraised...they’re pretty chill about the while process and very low pressure to sell.

I got pretty good money for a 2011 Outback and a sub-par offer on a 04 FX45 - my in-laws got decent money for there 06 Accord - really depends on what they need and IMO, worth a try. Note: they don't negotiate, offer is good for 7-days(I think) and its worth a good cleaning in/out b4 taking it in as curb appeal is important - good luck!

BTW, if naptown is Indianapolis please pm me what you're looking to get out of it - I'm an agent for a used car dealer but am actively looking for a 08-11 for me personally - its probably out of my range but I've been bumping up what I'm looking to spend and worth a consideration. Thx

Thank but I'm in Annapolis. The car is a 2013 has every option minus limited slip diff. and performance package White with red leather.I'll let you know what happens.

Just kicking around the idea for now. May be going for something else second hand f430 or gt3 next year. Will probably be out of state so that kills the usual trade in situation really.
Thanks for the responses

I tried taking an old Subi Forrester to CarMax. Got low-balled on the offer due to some "major engine issue" that they wouldn't give me any details about. What really pissed me off is when they explicitly said if I didn't take their offer in 7 days and came back a second time it would be even lower. So keep in mind, once you've gotten an offer, the VIN is in their database and they know exactly what they've told you regardless of location.
