Eurocharged V5 vs V7 dyno poor results and even worse customer service

**** Update , Vlad & Slav from eurocharged canada save the day***
**** update ****
I’ve since been to eurocharged Canada and met up with Vlad and Slav. They properly tuned my car and saved my faith in the eurocharged international name. I now highly recommend anyone to go see these guys was worth the trip from Montreal to Toronto for me. The car pulls hard and does a nice 11.6 1/4 mile a totally different beast! Vlad and Slav you kick ***! 😎🏎

Any computer savvy person can pulled up the cached page off Google and see the dyno charts and images OP posted. I'm reading it as we speak lol.
Edit: Beat me to it ^

I can empathise as it took a around 3 files on my car to get it happy, but since the last, it's been a beast all over the rev-range.
I think the OP would be best heading to a shop who can dyno tune the V7 file. I guess it's really hard for Jerry to do much remotely although I can't deny he was good to me.

It looks like a refund was given, so I guess it's done. Shame for OP though that he/she doesn't get to enjoy the tune.
We have only one shop over here who do Eurocharged dyno tuning, and they seem to get good results so I'd definitely head to a shop if I was OP. That's way all of the kinks can be sorted there and then.

I was contacted by Eurocharged Canada and will be heading to their shop to check out whats up with my tune.
Very happy so far with Vlad from EC CAD customer service as opposed to EC USA which failed spectacularly.
However as of this post I am still waiting on my refund.
Sad that EC USA denies any problems when I was pointed out many different posts about the same issues I've had fellow members since my OP.

I created a thread when I was having my issues which became pretty public. The issue was that past 4K RPM, it was totally flat, like severe timing pull. I'm not sure the cause, something in the mapping for sure but it was rectified and I'm really happy.
The problem now is rather more, too much power and not enough tyre. I have no idea how supercharged guys deal with that without somehow getting another 4cm of rubber in there (lol).

I am always one to prefer to praise a good merchant rather than point out a lesser one but in this case I could not let it slide once I was made aware that the issue was known.

LOL! I get where you’re coming from but some owners, like myself, are contemplating flashing the car now that it’s out of warranty (this week). All of these threads, and certainly the ones with factual data, are useful when window shopping. Not like I’m going to buy one of each and dyno them all.

Never understood why people don't log air/fuel when they dyno the car. Very useful tool to diagnose the simplest of issues. Just stick the damn sensor in the tailpipe
Impossible to diagnose without knowing many other factors but my guess is your running a tad richer throughout the entire powerbad but who knows without the a/f log

You need to daisy chain the primary 02 harness if you want any sort of accuracy.

I wouldnt say the tailpipe is worthless. Its still a good tool to get an idea where your at. As far as wideband sensor placement pre vs post cat, Ive seen .2 to .3 leaner for a post cat sensor vs a pre cat sensor. Taking that into account, AND the fact that your using a tailpipe sniffer, you will still get a decent idea if your running abnormally rich or lean. I think we can all agree that trying to dial in a car through a tailpipe sniffer is not the way to go but the OP is not doing that

As much as I have had a bad personal experience with EC and they've ignored probably 5 emails, text messages and a phonecall this year/summer to upgrade my tune to V7 - I must admit that from logs/video's I've seen of cars running a strong V7 tune, the cars move well and the logs tell their own story.
However, I've also seen one OE Tuning custom tune log running similar numbers as a V7 tune.
Vs V5 though, V7 running well is a far superior tune. It's a pity for the OP that V7 didn't work out for him.

Jerry seems to be a nice guy and has done well by me.
Having said that, his graph on ECs c63 page has not changed since the V3-V4 tune. He always says that each tune is a bit better and more powerful then the last, but has never stated the change on his website, and from what it looks like he posted in the email, its still “540”hp which no one seems to have achieved with any of his tunes to my knowledge. Plus it seems some of the V7 tunes or at least the early ones were problematic on the top end. Has that be fixed?
I still run the V5 tune and have the V6 tune on my computer, but have heard mixed reviews on it, so I didn’t load it to the car. I would buy the V7 tune if I knew it was really better, but the fact that the dyno numbers on the site have not changed since V3-V4 makes me leary. Some clarification on his part would be nice.

Love my V5 tune. It's perfect. Don't see that changing until I book some dyno time.
