2012 MCT transmission clutch seems to "hunt" when at cruise speed
Hi everyone
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed if their clutch on the MCT seems to "hunt". when i mean hunt, it seems to engage/disengage which is a bit like the old torque convertor going in and our of lockup. it mainly happens when at coast speed and very light throttle. if you load up a bit to gain speed or go up a hill it doesnt do it, its mainly when its coasting. it seems to do it in all gears and most speeds. Ive done the TCU reset, and it hasnt helped. Ive heard about some kind of clutch recalbration using star software, maybe it needs to be recalibrated?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Pete

Bringing back an old thread !
iv been dealing with this issue for about 6 months now and its getting really annoying , partial throttle cruising in gear it seems to like engage and disengage like stated above . Full load the car holds the power fine , tranny flash has been done at MB also adaptions with star have been reset . Iv been reading about the MCT and it seems like the solenoids are going to be different on the board would all need to be replaced ??
