What make of catch can do you have? Weistec.
My guess is it is attached to the valve part from the back of the block. The tube with the round valve attached. You need to replace that part. Get a new PCV and modify it to fit the set up you have if you have to but the Weistec catch can uses the complete PCV if I am remembering correctly. Take the old one apart to see what failed. There is a diaphragm inside and it has likely torn and failed. The easiest way to remove the fitting from the block is to cut the part you push to release the tabs inside the fitting that lock it on. Then you should be able to reach in from the driver's side and pull the PCV off the block. Otherwise you will have to pull the SC and that is a lot of work, so if you can work around doing that from the driver's side it will be worthwhile. You might have to see if you can move the wire harness across the firewall out of the way a little to give you some more room as it is tight back there.

There was a TSB on this very thing, I had mine replaced last year, as it was pushing the oil out through the dipstick. This is an easy fix, plus the new dipstick has a more secure cap.

As others have suggested, clogged PCV or in your case the catch can and/or hoses. If the issue is with the dipstick not sealing, the car wont idle properly (it will likely idle high).
