The new lenses look and feel just like oem. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase again from Bimmer Jakes --> https://www.bimmerjakes.com/en/merce...2007-2011.html

Do you have any pictures of the replacement process?
I am interested to know how the eyebrow textured driving light cover is held in place and even how the headlight looks without it.
I wonder if that cover can come off and then a LED strip replace it, inside the headlight.

....i used to like the strips in the retros i did but in all honesty the color, rightness and UNIFORMITY of the new LED silicone tubes is impossible to beat. I never buy the switchbacks though as when you are running dual purpose LEDs you either get less quality of light as the LEDs arent JUST pure white or less brightness as even if they run independent white and amber you will physically have half as many to produce light. They are literally $10 per pair and super easy to work with......in the pics/vid below that IS an LED silicone tube light in the eyebrow as well.

did anybody have the headlight alignment checked after replacing the lenses?
Of the 3 screws that hold the headlight, the long two ones seem to have a loose lateral tube. The screw fastens, but doesn't center.
Maybe this is normal and part of the adjustment mechanism, I have not yet had the time to check how the adjustment mechanism works.

The adjustment is internal to the headlight unit. As far as I can tell, the reason for which the two long headlight screws are not put through a calibrated hole, but rather a large diameter tube, is in order to adjust the panel/headlight gaps.
