Oil cooler fan not kicking on!

Hey guys so since it’s been getting warmer out my temps have been rising alot sooner then when it’s cooler out and I know that my fan is supposed to kick on at over 230f . My problem is that it has not been turning on at all once ! Is there a relay or fuse for this fan that I could look for ? Any input will be appreciated ..

I am not sure of this but I think I recall looking at the Xentry temp reading vs dash reading and they differed and I wondered why and was going to ask during a amg lounge session whether the displayed temperatures are real or "feel good" temperatures.
Let me check one more time ....

Whether it is or not , iv heard the fan come on multiple times before @240f last summer and its definitely noticeable to me. Im thinking its a bad fan or maybe a switch or relay that has gone bad ?

I think you can turn the fan on from Xentry, to test that system s operation.
I would expect there would be a code if it doesn't work.

Update !!!
So thanks to skratch and his xentry we were able to test the fan and determined that it was a bad fuse in the trunk ( F89 20amp in the purple holder ) if your oil cooler fan is not kicking on as it should check this first !!

Stupid q: how would I know if the oil cooler fan is kicking on or not without heating the car up and getting down on the ground in front of the grill opening? Can you hear/feel it while driving if the radiator fan is doing the same thing?

with the laptop you tell the fan to test on without the car running.

That makes sense, but the OP stated that he'd heard the fan start on multiple occasions before so I was trying to get a sense of how noticeable that was.

Anyway, not important. Sounds like the issue is resolved
