Rear coilover adjustment

Rear coilover adjustment
After instaling a set of BC coilovers on my car and not doing my homework and realising the rears cant be adjusted for ride hight once theyre on the car im serriously pi**ed off.
i obviously dropped the control arms to get old springs out and new ones in but what a nightmare to do it all again. It means dropping the back boxes off there mounting to be able to get the bolts out the control arms because i didnt realise i was going to have to do it again and like a dick i put the bolts back in the same way. I ordered a internal spring compressor but its to big to get up through the hole in the control arm.
i have found a thread on mbw that disscuses this problem and gives an alternative way of compressing the spring has but the link has no pics anymore.
The internal spring compressor i have is not the mb one with the discs its the one with the 4 hooks.

Yup, adjusting the rear ride height is a biatch. If that rear spring compressor lets go there go your fingers. Just come to grips with it and do it the long way.

I noted how I adjust my rears in this thread. Still appears to have the picture of the compressor style you'll need.

Why would you need spring compressors? Raise the car, put it on jack stands, put a jack underneath the control arm (with a hockey puck), remove inboard control arm bolt, lower jack, adjust, re-install.

Sorted guys thanks. Thanks to tpete I did end up taking a leg off the spring compressor and threading it up inside before putting pin back in. A few winds and it was sorted. Now I just gotta fine tune and check if it rubs and mess about with the damping.

so in other words to lower my rear side with my bc coil overs I have to , put a jack under the control arm to relive pressure. Then remove the control arm to subframe bolt and lower the jack. Correct? I'm saying because I believe I have the setting to Its lowest and the car still sits high, do I have to adjust the shock? For it to lower all the way
