Disappointing results.
Hi guys, my 2013 C63 runs 0-100 in 5sec and 1/8 mile in 8.5 sec.
Measured timings using Dragy.
MODS- armytrix downpipe(deleted both cats)
-AFE pro dry S filters
- eurocharged V7 91 octane.
Tires are Yokohama Advan sport (these came with p31).
Any ideas on why my car is slower compared to the stock timings that car manufacturers claim?.....I did keep losing traction in race start, Are my tires losing me 0.5 sec?
Any tips to make it faster will be helpful.

For one there are a lot of variables. Road surface, slants, and density altitude all play roles. A 2.1 60 foot isn’t great at all. If you want great times get drag radials. Otherwise it’s tough to get proper traction with sub par tires. Also race start won’t net the fastest times.

0-60 Mph does not equate 0-100 km/h.
It's 0-62 Mph and many times is introduces an additional shift.
I've been looking for a long time at 0-60 vs 0-100 km/h, the difference is about 0.5 seconds even in magazine tests.
In your case, this would put you at 0-60 around 4.5, which is average, with less than perfect conditions.
If you're using a phone ap, make sure the phone is attached rigidly to the car, it should not be able to move at all.

Does traction come on in sport handling/traction setting? I read on here that it only intervenes when the car gets too sideways but I swear it cuts power even when going straight. I haven't played around with it much but it seems to limit my burnouts compared to full off .

yes you were right, Just by changing it from 0-100kmph to 0-60mph it's come down from 5 to 4.7.

I had the factory Conti on when I bought mine as CPO. Noticed the started to wear more on the inside of the rears so mine were actually thinner than I thought. I remember thinking my car seemed noticeably slower. Got some new PSS on the rear. Oh man! night and day difference.
