Which cell phone mount do you use?
I know it’s not as exciting as other mods but I’m looking for some ideas where I can mount my phone best with our cars. Any reccomendations?

Pro clip is my favorite they sell a custom base by car model and then a custom mount by phone model so it is a really nice fit have it in my X5 and is excellent have not tried it for the c63 yet as I don’t drive it much.

I also use a CD slot mount. I'm in a pre-fl and have to insert it upside-down to avoid the volume knob, but it works perfectly as you just pivot the mount portion 180*.
This one puts it perfectly within reach and doesn't block anything of use.

I definitely don't want anything mounted on my windshield and I normally don't use a case unless I'm at work. yup I live life on the dangerous side going bare back with my phone, so having a magnet rules that out. I think I'm going to take a shot at the pro clip that I posted above. Thanks for the inputs.

I'm super picky with how thick my phone case is so I purchased a pitaka case and am quite happy with it. they make amazingly nice/thin cases that have the magnetic strip built in to it (i don't get how cus it's so thin) .They don't interfere with charging either.

This looks so good!! I really like the slimness and look of that case. I also really like the fact that the whole setup looks clean and simple, no bulkiness. I went ahead and bought the case and went with the vent holder that charges the phone. Now to see if I can manage to hide the cable somehow behind the dash or something... if not no big deal.. I dont always have to charge my phone... Thanks again Shane!

I'm always the phone will fall off during heavy acceleration/braking/cornering from the magnet holders. Same for the ones that are suctioned onto the windshield. I'm always afraid ones that fit in the CD slot will snap off and ruin the CD player, although I doubt CD players ever get used. I'm also afraid the ones that clip onto the air vents, which is what I use, will snap the air vents.
But so far this has worked well.

This is a German mount that I bought with the intent of adapting it to hold a cell phone.
Doesn't come with the support part, this is where my work was going to be.
It has a channel in the backplate, where the wiring can be tucked in.
Anyway, I'm moving to other projects and am going to put this for sale, if anybody is interested, please let me know.
