Autocross and Brakes

Hey everyone,

I know we have discussed brakes to no end on this forum but the amount of conflicting advice is huge. So here is a background:

-My car is a daily driver, but I only put on about 4000-5000k miles per year.
-I have begun doing Autocross events (full track days are out of the question given costs for me and getting cooling upgrades etc), at about once a month and would like to push that up.
-I need new brakes. 34k miles on the car and 6 years in and I finally need to change out the pads. Rotors are still good.
-The OEM brakes are good, but for the past year or so the amount of brake dust and the SQUEAKING OH GOD THE SQUEAKING is soooooo bad.

So I have narrowed it down to 3 brands/types of brakes. What I am looking for the most is NO SQUEAKING and then decent performance on the street and for autox use. Less brake dust is obviously nice but in order for me it goes 1) Minimal squeaks, 2) Performance on street and autox, and 3) Brake dust.
-Endless MX72 pads
-Porterfield R4S pads
-RacingBrake XT910 pads

If anyone has personal experience with these on a daily or for autox use please chime in!

Thanks in advance!

I’ve tried both the Porterfield and RacingBrake pads. They’ll be fine for autocross. Similar compound, similar dust, no noise. I’d give the
edge to the RB performance-wise, but honestly whichever one is cheaper I’d get.

Thanks, RB are about $100 cheaper overall for front and rears $300 total versus $400 Porterfield.

Also they are local to me.

Thank you for the advice.

RB is local to me as well and was considering picking up a set within the next 4-6 months when my brakes need servicing. Let us know how you like them if you pull the trigger

Where have you found Endless pads? I can't seem to locate for C63 online anywhere...

Appreciate your endorsement and referral.

We are adding happy customers from Mercedes community almost on a daily basis like this happy SL550 customer:

Racing Brake makes me happy

One thing sets us apart from other brake pad mfgrs is RB also offers true light weight high performance two piece rotors to enhance the overall braking performance and longevity*. Our brake option and coverage for Mercedes is 2nd to none, and we are proud to be able to provide this service to Mercedes community.
