Well, had some free time today so I got my car apart to see what type of carnage I caused. She sure did twist right apart!!! And there it sits probably for the rest of winter as the new carbon driveshaft is 6 weeks out.

Driveshaft came in and had time over the weekend to install it and test it out. It makes a difference for sure but not sure yet how much, could just be I haven't driven my car in a month. But very happy with it for sure.

well some goodies came today!! Weistec stage 3 with gen 4 blower. Heat exchanger is backordered, also im waiting for a few other things.

Current projected mods:
Weistec Stage 3
trunk ice tank
ID1050x injectors
(2) e5lm fuel pumps
-10 fuel feed line
-6 return line
ID fuel filter
meth injection
Syvecs S7+ plug in standalone
E85 flex fuel

Right now i will be installing the weistec and getting a trunk ice tank, for the time being. After all the craziness settles down i will continue with standalone and custom fuel system.

few pics of the weistec laid out

I am also waiting aluminum valve covers that i purchased and waiting for them to get powdercoated as well. The theme i will be going with is candy blue, only the covers will be done right now. later on i will rebuild the brake calipers and do those the same color as well.
pics of previous projects done the same color on wifes evo

That's it for now as waiting for the heat exchanger and ice tank to show up before install begins.

Phil since you are going the ice tank route, have you considered with a killer chiller gen 3 kit? You would repurpose the ice tank as an auxilary tank for the gen 3 killer chiller kit. I too bought the a weistec supercharger kit. The heat exchanger is back ordered so i ordered this.

No, the reviews are so mixed with any killer chiller type kit. If i do go any other route i will just get a fluidyne heay exchanger.

I get it man. I did notice those mixed reviewers are also running a heat exchanger in line with the kit, which is not recommended. Here is a video of the kit on an e55 mercedes.
The e55 are notorious in suffering heat soak, like the m156 when supercharged.

Nice! Are you modifying the trans at all to handle the stage 3 power? What kind of power are you hoping for?

Awesome! I got an itch last night and started looking into superchargers. Will you be upgrading any internals to keep up with stage 3?

Not at first, the mct is supposed to be pretty decent at handling the power as long as I stick to rolls and don't do a bunch of digs with it.

Come winter or when it takes a **** it'll get a weistec bullet proof build,, or if i find more info on what they do, i may just get the exedy clutch kit and rebuild it with my buddy who's a master Mercedes tech.

But right away the only thing I will be doing is a service to it with filter and fluid etc. car has like 32k on it so its time..

At first I'm just slapping the blower on with 67mm pulley on weistec 93 tune for summer, i am slowly gathering the rest of the stuff for the fuel system for hopefully fall to do the standalone and e85. So right away I'm hoping for 680whp but it'll probably be more like 630ish I'm guessing.

All said and done with e85 and meth I'm going for 750whp +

No plan to right now, I do eventually want to but if the aussie guys are doing 140 mph+ on cast motors my p31 should be good for a while. But one day I will upgrade unless for some reason I'm forced to early. Lol

although not a very near future upgrade, I do believe I will be putting a 100 shot of nitrous in place of the meth before the blower but thats not anytime soon. But I'm not going to lie, I really wanted to soray the **** out of this thing before I went FI so itll just have to get added in the future I guess.

bad ***...one thing to mention, you won't need meth injection if running e85.

Well my new to me aluminum valve covers showed up today. Have to get them dropped off to the powder coaters asap to get coated. Since I'm over the top as usual, I will be ordering 12 point SS bolts for the cover hardware for some bling factor.

On most cases I would 100% agree, what I'm going to do though. Since heat is a factor majorly with the whipple and m156 in going to monitor AIT1 and AIT2 to see if bringing down AIT2 will still be beneficial. And in that case the meth will be a very small shot just for the cooling of the blower and ait's, not for knock protection which its still essentially doing anyway.

But I will be logging everything once the e85 is in order. Because I'm going standalone at the same time for true flexfuel capability. So we'll see what data we gather when that time comes.
