Transmission Oil for MCT Speedshift
Guys question. A guy selling a C63 didn't do a transmission oil change since he got it and its a 2012 with 88,000 miles on it. I drove the car, it shifted great, quick and smooth, should I just do a tranny flush ASAP or run away? I know that in normal AT with a torque converter if the transmission oil hasn't been changed the oil becomes thick due to the heat and the tiny shards of metal that is due the wear and tear over time, if the transmission's oil is changed it starts to slip and basically needs a rebuild. Is it the same case with the MCT? I know that MCT has wet clutch packs, will changing the oil simply resolve it or should I run away even if it is shifting smooth and fast?
He did tell me that the car's transmission is slightly jerky when the car is still cold, but it goes away when it heats up. is that normal?

I mean if it's NEVER been serviced (every 40k miles is the major trans service), I'd just get that done and probably call it good to go. These transmissions are pretty stout.

I had mine changed at the dealer and the car didn't change one bit , my transmission does have an issue though as it slips on the lower gears with minimal throttle . Also I am getting shift "flare" which some don't know about its basically when the car shifts and wants to settle into that exact gear it tends to jump/fluctuate the rpm . Also this happens when the car gets warm when its cold it doesn't do it .
didn't mean to jack the thread but if its not acting funny just leave it alone .

Are you doing the same with your engine oil? If the engine isn't acting funny you just don't change the oil?

If you can’t afford a possible $10k transmission rebuild/replace bill, or you aren’t getting the car at a significant savings versus the market, run the other way. If he hasn’t done a trans fluid change, it’s likely he didn’t do much of anything including Services A and B maybe even oil at normal intervals. Plenty of good FL cars out there with perfect service history.

If it's 7g since it's 2012 the interval is higher ,
5 years / 77, 500 miles or is it less for the C63 ?
