I've searched and searched. I'm aware the OEM resonator is an H-Pipe design internally. But does anyone have a pic of one opened up to see the exact design? I want to know how big the H-Pipe is.
I'm installing LTH next week, paired with catless 3'' Mid-pipes. I want to run that into either:
OEM Resonator
2.5'' H-Pipe I have laying around
CLS63 Resonators (Straight)
This will run to OEM mufflers. And no, I will not do an X-Pipe... ruins the sound IMO.

It will be loud and if you can get remus mufflers it will sound almost OEM but way louder. That was my final setup after trying many different setups.
if it's to loud you can install hi flow cats but keep stock resonator and mufflers or you will lose the amg bark.

I'm running this setup with 200 cel HFC and it sounds great but I'm getting worried with the new exhaust law here in CA. Also pretty sure my neighbors hate me. Would the remus system help quiet it down a little? Also did you keep stock resonator or use remus? I've seen some youtube clips and like the sound but hard to judge the sound level from a video.

it will quiet it down about 5% and take a little of the harsh tone out of it and smooth it out a little.
it also comes with it's own resonator and will be bolt on to your setup.

So you have LTH, HFC, straight pipes to OEM resonator and OEM mufflers?
