C63 w204 transmission issue
I am currently driving a 2010 C63 with P30.
The transmission is fine with normal city driving, however when i put it on Sport mode and gunning it on the highway, the transmission starts to have issues. Was driving pretty fast when the gears disengaged. There was no gear indicator and it just went blank. When i rev the accelerator, it reacted like the engine was on neutral. After slowing down to the side, the 4th gear engaged. But I couldn’t upshift and just stuck to 4th gear.
Had to stop the car and restart the car. Went back to normal. However, the problem started again not long later again while doing aggressive driving. The 5th gear also appeared to stutter a bit.
Normal city driving this problem never happens.
My Mechanic thinks it is a clutch clip issue and needs to replace the clutch and rebuild the transmission.

Was wondering could this be the valve body conductor plate issue? Anyone had this problem before?
Thank you.

I am using VGS3.
Went to my mechanic and they couldn't detect any fault codes.
So apparently they have changed a number of Merc transmission 722.9 conductor plate before. All of them were using Siemens.
I was told Siemens have stopped making it because of some inherent issues?
The replacement conductor plate are using TCU made by Continental.
Was advised to change to a new conductor plate.

As far as a new conductor plate, not sure about re using the solenoids. They seem to be somewhat paired with the plate.
Also, I have been reading that apparently there is some sort of transmission fluid filtration that is not installed for US cars.
And that some problems usually associated with solenoids can be solved by removing the solenoids and individually cleaning them really well.
Also, if you're all set for a fluid and filter change, it doesn't seem like getting to the solenoids is that much harder, once the pan and filter are out.
