Having to connect to wifi on the phone seems like it would be a PITA. Also, the mirroring looks kind of lame. I'd look for a module than can interface with CarPlay or whatever.
Anyone using one of these kits? If so how do you like it? Was it a true Plug N Play?

Someone here has that or similar...there was one or two long running threads about Android based screen replacements for the 204. As I recall, that particular model, while it has the cleanest "factory look" installation actually has the added screen real estate mostly obscured by the wheel. Not to mention that the factory screen location is pretty inconvenient to use as a touch screen.
I have the CKM android until. I have it set to auto launch Waze everyte I get in the car. I also have a wireless hotspot that plugs into the obd port. I use waze, Castbox, Amazon music on a daily basis. Works very well. Only weird thing worth mentioning is that you can’t listen to the rapid or any of the stock audio options without switching between aux and the stock radio. I use the stock Bluetooth for my phone and it works whether I have the android into or the stock unit playing audio.
With that said, I emailed CKM a while back about getting an update and never heard from him. Not sure how well this system will work long term without updates to android. Right now though, it works really well. Nearly seamless.
