Needs input about Pedal Commander
Hi everyone,
I have owned a 2011 C63 with P31 for over 4 years now. The car is still fully stocked. I am very happy with the power that it gives out, but one thing I noticed, is that there is always a lag when I floor the gas pedal. It just can't give me that instant response. It wasn't until I saw this product called Pedal Commander, which is claimed to be able to take away the lag and give you an instant response. I wonder if anyone here is using this or familiar with the product. Thanks in advance.

Seems like you would be better off saving the money and just flooring it every time you push the gas pedal. I watched the video and the comment that stood out the most was "I'm going to shred these 315s". Imagine what having no throttle modulation is going to do to your 275s or less.

Funny how you guys haven't seen this before
It just varies the throttle sensitivity. You won't get faster.
Honestly it's a gimmick. It does what it has to do, but doesn't really delete lag. Although I don't have it.

The only place I've seen and heard people really raving about them as the the quarter mile strip.

I have a pedal box. It made a big difference in throttle lag. Could be a sugar pill but I can notice a big difference off the line and out of corners. It is well made, made in Germany, and has multiple sensitivity levels you can set. Very clean and I have had it for 3 years, not one issue.

Yeah, not a gimmick. i.e. Sprint booster won SEMA award some years ago...you don’t win for gimmickry. Sprint Boost V3 has a valet mode (lock out) code; a good feature for any car.

Watched this video and explains what its doing a little better for everyone that doesn't know what it does. I had one in a R8 and it was crazy at times to drive, you had to dial it down. Not sure what the difference is with all these units out there now. I'd like to try on on my c63 since I had a feeling a lot of a tune feel has this built into it and is what everyone feels right away saying "OMG the tune feels night and day different" But I could be wrong lol... Edit: I was right lol https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...ml#post6076609

I’m pretty close to pulling the trigger on a STAR/XENTRY/VEDIAMO on eBay (either Toughbook or Dell) with multiplexer etc. I need to code out way too many things now and want stuff like flashing brake lights on decel. Can we revive that thread please? I need to figure out how to use it. @Funkwagen can you help us out?
I have seen another member say you can make the car crisp like after a TCU reset all the time and stop the car from learning and adapting to driving conditions.
Most of the coding is in german also lol

I'll start/ revive a thread when I can sit down and write something decent up, for now there's this thread I made about this mod in the regular w204 section. Only the Lastschlagdampfung is relevant to the AMG, all other listed parameters are either redundant or detrimental to performance in this case

Any luck getting it working again? I’m considering getting the Toughbook type.

That would be awesome. There’s so little knowledge out there on this stuff that people are willing to share or even know about. It would be really beneficial to the community if we could start getting all this info collected and saved down here. Even basic guidelines to point people in the right direction. Thanks.
