Engine Code P228f help

I have a 2010 C63 AMG and the yellow CEL is on. When I read the code it gives me "P228f - fuel pressure regulator 1 exceeded learning limits - too high"

I get 3 codes all reading the same thing (P228f)
I have no loss of power
noticeable loss in fuel economy
brief ticking coming from engine on cold start

previous owner said he replaced 2/8 fuel injectors so im thinking maybe its a couple more of those? Has anyone had this problem and what did it end up being? Any help is appreciated, thanks guys

Update:

Found a crack in my air intake manifold

replacing the whole thing in a few days and will report back if the rattle goes away. It was around $1000 after install (I got a used one) so not as bad as a camshaft repair

when I had that, accompanied with hesitation and stalling, it was my fuel pumps that died.

Problem is my car runs completely fine. No hesitation, no misfires, no MPG loss, no noticeable power loss according to my butt dyno.

I had that, MB Seattle replaces the fuel pumps. Came back on in 2 months, now they’re saying it’s my fuel filter. $850 to replace that. We’ll see if that’s the cause

I was getting power loss slowly over time as well as a high pitch whine

Update on my car.. had a shop replace the fuel filter which Mercedes thought was causing the CEL. Turns out it’s the fuel rail censor that’s going bad. Wasted $900 for no reason.. my suggestion is to have multiple shops diagnose the CEL before you decide to do anything so you don’t waste money like I did!

Did that replacement remove the CEL codes?

My engine started ticking loudly today too...

I had exact same issue on my 07 E63. I replaced everything with the fuel system except for pump and sender. Still nothing.... check engine light is as bright as ever. then i tried opening the gas cap and leaving it off before starting the car. It worked immediately. Hope this helps.

Had the same code and CEL. Car ran fine. After a suggestion from a member here (sorry, forgot the name), I had my fuel pump replaced and the code and CEL went away and has been away for a while now.
