Are the secondary cats internally separate?

The two secondary cats share one big housing. Are they fully separated on the inside or is it shared space internally, equalizing the asymmetrical pulses and giving it somewhat of an X pipe effect?

Has anyone cut open the secondary cats or at least looked down the holes?

Yes the cats are separate. No, they don’t need to be cut up to verify. They just are.

The resonator is the next thing downstream and I know it has an H pipe in it.

The primary cats are obviously separate. The secondary cats are butted together in one shared housing. I'm just asking for someone that has physically seen inside to report what they see, not internet heresay. Just what someone has seen with their own eyes.

That pic shows the secondaries external housing is joined so it does not prove either way. Yes there are two bumps but the inlets and outlets could be joined because the external housing is. They probably are separate but I want to know for sure, not a guess or presumption. Heaps of people have done secondary cat delete. My question is to one of those people to look down the holes.

I have my secondary cats on my garage floor. I'll run a shop vac to them and see if air comes out the other side.

I'd like to see what the inside of the resonator looks like

If the inlets and outlets are internally separate visually, safe to say they're separate.

Of course it's a 5 second search if you remember the thread to look for.

Still have the secondary cats and would you like to sell them if so?
