H&R Coil-Overs

How difficult is it to change height to front and rear coil overs upon installation?

Are there specific settings anyone install these?

Merry Christmas

The front is very easy to change ride height, just remove wheel and turn locking collars with coil over wrench . The rear is another story, you have to drop the arms to adjust the rears and Re install each time till you get it right.

I use to run them, not a bad setup. The mounts on the front axle tend to wear out strut bearings quickly (at least in my experience with them for 1.5 Years.

I am assuming it made for a harder ride after strut bearings went. Are they replaceable the bearings?

it’s odd because other members who used them didn’t have the problem. I went through 3 sets of bearings in 18 months of driving. A few people advised me they’d encounter the same problem but it was rare.

the part was cheap $30-40 dollars. It would
make an awful clunk when driving over uneven road at low speeds.

ride comfort was actually better than stock. But the car with KW V3’s are a whole new beast.

I was on the fence with going KV3s but have my eye on the new M5 in a year or two so I decided to try H&R
