interested in this. I have heard and read such varying things on here. i have heard some super sticky (maybe nittos) on the rears with 275 will be good for hooking up - downside is they dont last too long, which is fine for me because its not my daily.
with spring around the corner ill also be grabbing some new tires. interested in what others have to say
I run 275 on OEM 18's and so far still gripping after 18months.
Even good in the wet as ive discovered lately here in Sydney Australia over the last week.

If you’re on 18’s you can get a 285 Nitto drag radial on no problem
how about on a 2012 coupe base model?
pretty new and the info is scattered i seem to remember reading the coupe has a little more room and is easier to do a black series conversion or just fender widening - is that true?

Yes
Black Series conversion is not at all “easy”. You can widen the rear fenders. I got an extra 1.5” per side which is good for 295 MPSC2’s.
I ran all 3. With a 12mm rear spacer on OEM 19'' multispokes, a 275 width PS4S would rub hard on the passenger side. This is all the way down on H&R coilovers.
265 sat nice and flush with only a slight rub over big bumps.
