I talked to a shop here in LA that’s doing them. Apparently this TCU tune is done entirely through the OBD2 port. That has me a little confused because I thought the TCU had to be removed to truly tune it. I’m due to talk to Jerry this week and I’ll get the scoop.

talked to Dave. Sounds like it’s a tune through the obd2. It’s apparently a Germans tuners tcu tune rebranded. It cannot be done through the my genius. It works for all w204 c63s.

w212 owners are talking very highly about this. I would be very interested. On the W212 forum looks like it costs around 1,800 and Dave will travel around USA to tune vehicles if that area has enough interest

I get the price since they have to travel and do the tune by hand but too rich for me as I mostly just daily drive the car, maybe if it was 800 bucks I would do it, especially if it actually fixed the car letting you shift with the paddles when you ask it to shift, but that may be some other limitation.

Howdy folks - the tagging worked and I got a notification of it FYI
Tuning is done through the OBD2 Port, and yes I will be travelling all around to do these tunes. People are for sure loving it, and thinking its very near the top of ROI as far as mods go...
It's been something 722.9 owners have been wanting for a very long time and I am very happy we are able to provide it much more easily than taking our the valve body/tcu and shipping it out.
It allows much faster hole-shots, and ultra fast shifting. I set up a simple website to give info and sign up. www.eurochargedatx.info - 722.9 TCU Tuning.
Let me know if you have questions
Thanks!
Dave

it didn’t, however the converter 722.9 is so similar minus the clutch mechanism and torque converter that I am assuming they can tune the converter autos as well... my guess at least

I guess it would be nice for some clarification rather than us to assume though.
I want to assume it would not work in non MCT 722.9's due to w204 designation being the only one listed supporting it pre 2012.

It would be great to get some clarity for PFL W204 C63 transmission. Also I do not understand one thing, claim says
Anyways thank you EC for the tune. Would love to know if it would work on PFL with torque converter?
- 0.2 sec decrease in ¼ mile
- 0.3 sec decrease in the 0 to 60 time down to 2.7 seconds!

The tuning does include your car. As for results, it's hard to compare directly to a AWD MCT car but yes you'll see the same type of improvements. Transmission pressures are increased and torque limiters are modified. It'll decrease shift times and allow higher torque launches at the track. The Transmission will also hold for power due to the increase in line pressure. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Weistec tuned TCU and modified Valve Body here, going strong for 4yrs with tons of track time. I have a little 3-4 slip now but it's not terrible. I don't know how wise it is to tune the TCU without the supporting Valve Body modifications to allow for the higher line pressures.
