Stage 3 weistec + Nitrous = Party time

This build has been in the process for a while. Finally coming together.

built m156 by Alan at accelerate automotive
ported heads
weistec gen 4 2.9 charger
custom fuel set up
pump e85
weistec built tranny
ice tank set up
60mm pulley makes 10psi on this car
custom tune by Allen at international autohaus

700rwhp with no nitrous. Has ran a 10.3@142mph full weight. 1.7 60ft, 107mph half track.
790rwhp with nitrous - times to come.

Great to see some Aussie C63's absolutely crushing it. Such a sweet build.

On the subject of the airboxes, Iv'e been looking for some under the bonnet bling. Your set up looks sweet, do you reckon it will work with non SC cars?

The renntech intake set up is probably the best for an na car but it is expensive. I went this route as I didn’t want the pod set up (personal choice) and it works for me

They may be sold out since the Magnusson charger is discontinued. It also is not a direct fit to weistec set up and if your na. I had to slightly modify mine.

Lower air-box mouldings (35-23-63-013 & 35-23-63-015) are readily available - in stock in Au at VCM Performance
From memory, I think they charge ~A$150/pr

I have not been involved with any testing, so I can't really offer any valid comment.
IF the OEM airboxes are restrictive (and I don't know if they are), the Magnuson units have more volume under the filter.

this is correct hence why I used them. The bottoms are significantly larger.

yes with the Gen4. It will go quicker, full weight. This was on radials too, not full slicks, and my 20in rims up front, coil overs wound all the way down. Next time I head out wit will be prepped so it should hopefully go into the 9s with out nitrous, then deep into the 9s with it

Thats awesome I would love a 9.50 when im said and done. Hopefuly off nitrous but well see. Godd work can't wait to see more!

At Haruns power level the 3 litre blower is full maxed there is noting more in it unless you go 4 litre or use direct port NOS

Even with 125 shot it didnt make any more power

I've been wondering about the 3.4L that whipple makes. I'm sure it could be adapted to work on the weistec setup. It is a bit bigger, and only being 3.4 it may not strain the crank enough to warrant severe problems. Its been a thought in my head recently but my 3L not even on yet.

no I haven’t. But I’m sure on another dyno I could make 1000hp with this set up lol. As brad said, we’ve maxed the charger. Even after spraying 125hp, and over spinning the charger it made Very little extra power so it wasn’t worth the risk.
2022 (If the motor stays together until then) will be when I rebuild the bottom end with a sleeve block, wel single turbo it, t400 gearbox and syvecs ecu. I’l let brad lead the way, head into the 8s and I’ll follow him. This should be quick enough for now. Hoping to take some records real sooooon
